Went out this morning and boy was it choppy. Not unfishable though. Started at 50 FOW one dipsy one leadcore. Managed to get one in the boat on a Riplin Redfin before Erie kicked us off her. Stay Safe

I'm on holidays this week and the winds and waves are frustrating, but I have so much respect for Erie that I won't be taking any chances.

Possibly go out late Wednesday or Thursday.

Last year on holidays the lake was phenomenal for the week and I got out almost every day.

I showed up at 0900..looked, saw dark clouds headed in, walked on the pier and got a wave up to my knees come over. Turned around and left. ...live to fish another day
