Perching at the bay

The season is coming to an end with dockage soon ... the wind is such an disappointment.

Anyone going out in this wind?

I was planning to go this weekend and at the moment it seems like that’s going to be off the table. Who knows, maybe the weather shapes up 🤷‍♂️

Here’s to hoping…

🤞A one day run down there on Sunday could be nice. I had a weekend plan of camping at long point and fishing both days. I could still camp, but I think it would be a cold sandblasting, and for a one nighter it doesn't really add up to me.

O.B.:
I think I am going to give'er the good old college try Sunday morning/afternoon if the wind permits. 10+ footers right now according to Port Stanley buoy😫⚠️! I am hoping to try for another pike assault, if the wind shifts to west and southwest as predicted for tomorrow. It could be my last opportunity to get at them before the north winds confine me to the north shore of the inner bay for the remainder of the liquid water season💨. A quick check of the P.S. buoy in the morning will be the final arbiter 🙏🤞.

Was windy AF all day here. Winds died down right now. Doubt I'll be up too early for a morning forecast

Ironically I thought it would be flat glass the last two weekends since I pulled my boat... The wind picked up again this morning, water level is at least 1.5-2' lower right now.

THX… I was checking W/F and the next week is the $hit’s. all next week. Will be limiting my perch this year.. HAG1…….

We were out today btw St. Williams near Collins. GPS shows a lot of fish lol but not a bite and we moved to 3 different spots. The last stop closer to land, still 7' we started to get bites, but they were very small. Then it started pouring,

Sunday look good ... hopefully it will stick. After that, the boat goes home.

Looks windy AF for tonight & tomorrow. I'd bet the perch are hunkering down like all the ships in Erie

Perhaps kite surfing might be something to take up, given the winds over the course of the last month! Any body got some used gear for that they would like to part with?🤣🏄
