Fishing Report Perch - Turkey Point - Monday, July 4th

[Duck Soup]

Still waiting for the walleye to arrive but their close relative, the yellow perch are available. Fished Turkey Point this morning using spinner baits and shiner minnows. Caught 39 keepers ranging from 8 to 10" in 3 hours. We had 5 minnows left in the pail when we quit at noon but it was getting pretty warm and we figured we had enough fish.
Happy to see people getting eyes west of here. Hopefully we have them in the Bay soon.

Neighbour and I had a heart to heart conversation.

Looking like I'll be going Perch fishing in the near future. LOL

If we catch, I'll be good. If it's a bust we'll have to troll for a bit to bring back my cherib like demeanor. LOL.
