Fishing Report Perch - St Williams - Monday, Oct 23rd

Probably the last day for 2023. Not much for hard water fishing. Three of us got 60 nice perch today, mostly in the afternoon once the wind came up to 5 to10 mph. The morning was calm and s-l-o-w. We quit at 2:00 pm. Albert got cold and we had enough fish. We launched at Collins but bought the minnows at Turkey Point. We heard there were non available at Collins this morning. Fished exactly 4 hours and caught lots of dinks, especially when it was calm. Decent perch were rare until it got a bit windy.

Used the bow mount electric on anchor mode and the sonar was showing 5.6 to 7.1 feet of water. I guess when we swung over the bottom vegetation it indicated the lessor amount. When I pressed the anchor button the sonar was showing 7.3.

"Erie Bait" Take Turkey Point Rd, go one concession south of HWY 24, turn right and go about 2 kilometers.
