Three of us tried drowning a few minnows this morning and hoping we would be rewarded with a feed of perch. Things started off pretty well at Normandale but when the light NW breeze died so did the bite. We tried changing spots and eventually changed locations. It was not to be and we finally decided to pull the plug a little after 11:00 am with 11 keepers in the live-well. We did catch a few more dinks for our efforts and couldn't really complain about the weather.
