Stopped at Jimmy's and got a huge scoop of minny,s from Mrs Jimmy. She told us, perch were being caught in close, so we fished near Old Cut. We were in, I am not kidding, 2.5 ft of water. First fish caught was an OOS 3lb smallmouth. Then we got into some small perch, then bigger, then bigger. As the afternoon went on, the wind got stronger and the fish got bigger. We only had about two and a half hours but it was non stop fish and we used all the minnows. All though there were a lot of throwbacks we came home with 18 keepers.
