Three of us fished for perch Sunday between 9:45 am and 1:00 pm with the time split equally between EC10 and 16 fow out in front of Normandale. The bite was fair at EC10 but we were only getting 1 keeper for every 6 fish. Normandale was slower but we caught better than 50% keepers. We ended up with 23 perch between 8 and 11 inches. The surface water temp ranged from 67 to 69 degrees and the wind came up from the WSW at about 15 knots by late morning. It was pretty bouncy out there.

We were also out today. Got our minnows from Rotten Ronnies at 7:30 am and received 2 scoops of plump large minnows. Stef sorted out the big ones for us. Gave us a large 3 incher that caught a good pike for us on top hook of pickeral rig first cast. Ended up with 25 keepers (12 inches was our slot size) between the two of us near EC10. Stopped for ice and snacks on way back and was greated by a guy working there with dark skin and a thick beard showing us a most unusual fish in his cooler with yellow dots and was about 24 inches long!!

Good for you not putting the boat away Arnie. And those are the sizes you like taking home the most, so not a bad day after all. Hope Albert is doing well.

Cheers,
