Passing Denny Leeson

Many of us will remember Denny as a regular out at the Elbow when he ran some Lake Erie charters out of Hoovers and Port Dover during the hay-days of the 80's and 90's. He went by the handle "Lakeland" and had a fully rigged SCR 25 Sportfisherman.

I remember him well -- a true gentleman -- terrific hockey player and fisherman --great friend of Hamburg Hutch --long gone himself -- life is too short --especially for us fisherman --may he RIP

Very sorry to hear we lost such a good man as him. 84 years of hockey and fishing is a good run, so a standing ovation is in good order for Dennis Leeson! Well done!
