Did a trib to the east today with an old fishin buddy.

"He" thought it was up----"I" thought it was low (inspite of all the rain over the weekend. Regardless it was running clear and you could watch all the old boots swimming around and making their way up thru the rapids. The odd one were real "tanks"---saw a couple corpses that would have gone 30# plus.

Couldnt come up with our target of bows/browns tho---just didnt seem to be there. Had to be content trying to provoke a hit---didnt want no part of that either.

Was a great day to walk the creek---even saw my first coyote.

Part way downstream we even talked to a couple of guys who were kind enough to share some fresh roe and a couple artificial single eggs. Turned out they were from Brantford (small world isnt it??)

Anyway like I said at the beginning "did a trib", turned out I was the one got "done". Knees started to protest all the exercize---in full battle dress---chestwaders, boots, vest, the works. If that wasnt bad enough the climb back out was really tough this year. Had to stop more then usual for some huffin and puffin. Told my partner this most likely would be the last year for me for this place.

Going to have to find somewhere for easier access or a nice comfortable pier.
