Never intended it as a fish story nor did I imply it as such. Regardless of where it came from I was just simply stating it's what I would call a monster pike. The link below has most current records for pike as well as Ontario's largest being 42 lbs.

That picture has been around for a while. I think that fish was caught in England, they grow some monsters over there in what we would call a pond. Does anyone kwnow if European pike are the same as north american pike? I understand they have a walleye like fish there called zander that look like our walleyes but they are bigger.
