Looking for a place to launch a kayak along the North Shore within striking distance of some rock piles ie Normandale.
Kayak is quite seaworthy so reasonable conditions are not an issue.
I want to get out and catch some Smallies in it.
 
Bucket I'm pretty sure you could put your kayak in right in Normandale--just get to the pier -- there's a parking spot a few steps away --good luck --
 
BV is right; that's a great spot for smallmouth. Had lots of fun throwing spinners in amongst those huge rocks. For guys in bigger boats, be careful. Maybe one of the most dangerous spots in the Bay.
