[Real Therapy]

Well washed a lot of lures south of shoal looking for lakers.45 to 65 ft .Different day than Wed . No takers except a small bow on a dipsy 85 ft back.After 4 hrs packed up and then went pike fishing in the bay.20 plus pike and a huge musky who paid Roland a visit boatside but wouldnt take his lure ,just followed as he did figure 8s ,finally giving him the fin and cruising away.

How long do musky Hang around in the bay before they leave for the lake I’m guessing temperatures make a difference, I have never caught a musky ? just curious.

Been fishing mostly Maitland and Burwell for last 3 yrs,,now I may start expanding for pike..any tips

@Real Therapy did you launch from Hoovers? If yes, is the dock not under water already?

@vmuravin I was out there on the 31st for a change from the pike fishing. The center dock at Hoovers was (barely) out of the water on the 31st, not sure what it's like now. The breakwall on the left side was underwater. I had no problem launching in a 16 ft boat; feet stayed dry.

Nice conditions that day for a boat ride but no fish for me. If anyone has a hot tip for lakers I'm all ears! Never targeted them before. I washed lures high and low behind dipsys in 50-70 FOW with no takers.

I know they are there, man! There was a post on them the other week. Also, my profile pic is taken June 22nd 2019 right there, south of the shoal, at 65-70 fow. I will come back for them this year, and judging by the windy, this will happen as soon as this weekend
