Nice work
@moocow, we were out a couple hours before you, left a couple hours after...
Stayed in 45 - 65 FOW.
Took most of the day for us to net 9 eyes and a couple silver.
Tried various depths on dipsy. spoons and RRF, pink, purple, green, silver, perch colored, etc. All got one or two fish.
I spooled up a reel with some lead, first time, no rod holder for it tho, so we took turns holding onto the rod.
Used a worm harness with a rubber worm off the chute, back 6 colors, had several hits, landed one walleye. Yup,, that's a lot of cranking on the old pen 309, but lots more fun feeling the hits and setting the hook...
Great day, started off breezy and overcast, cleared up and got hot, bite was slow till late afternoon for us, and yes the flies were hungry.
