mathematics lever ?

Ok, I have this rudder feedback unit and understand how this simple lever works.

it mounts beside your rudder and mimics its same movements.

Seems quite simple you mount it "X" distance away on the same center line and then tie your rod in on the same "Y" distances so that is would mimic.

Now , lets think outside the box and use "S" and "T" in the pic attached, Would this feedback still rotate the same amount port and starboard even though it has been mounted off the centerline by T and S values so long as i keep everything equal.

I think it would be the same, but would like other Feedback, no pun intended.

Thank you Warren
