Fishing Report March 30th LPB

It was a little rougher/windier than I would have liked but I got out perching. Took me all day to find a decent school of fish but at least I found them. Plenty of little ones but I brought home 26 nice fish (tossed back at least twice that many). Why is it they’re always in the last place you look at the end of the day ?

Hey...been swamped and have not had time to check out the page in a few weeks!!!!

Shallow water can be tuff for sonar but its hard to beat good running side scan (my Lowrance Live HDS with 3in1 transducer can side scan a swath 300+ feet wide and depending on the colour pallet being used it can be very handy and give you a bunch of useful info on fish and structure!

"Live" sonar like Garmin's LiveScope or Panoptics or Lowrance's Active Target or LiveSight can be great for scanning up to 60-80' from the boat...anymore than that is pushing the limits of most of them.
