went out today with my son my niece n bro we started at the flats and stayed there until we ran out of leaches had a great day .. its my sons 11th bday n he wanted to bass fish since we missed out on opener... landed 21 nice eaters lost 6 or so at the boat n my niece thought she wanted to let one go trying to put it in the fish basket lmao.. oh well...was off the water at noon ..now were having a big family fish fry in a couple hours before the fire works.. )))))

Was out yesterday ....not prime time 12pm to 3pm...left the smallies alone and went for bucket mouths . Fishing was slower than normal ..Landed 8 biggest being about 3 lbs. One 33 in bonus pike decided to swallow the offering as well. Upon cleaning the Pike it was jammed full of sunfish ( blue gill). It had several 3 in to 5 in sunfish whole in its stomach. They were all fresh too must have been in feed that morning.
