Fished mostly the flats and a little west to in front of cottages, was ok as we boated about 20 fish for 3 guys. Many less than some other years, the bay is warm at 78 f. The opener is as late as it can get, which likely contributed to a slower than we are used to day. Great weather and overall a great day. We did keep 5 for dinner and was surprised to have 2 females with spawn

Slow drift with limited wind. Got ten slower than usual opener.

3 guys fished 5:30- noon out front of the company and bluffs. Body baits and tube jigs. Released all except for one 18"smallmouth that couldn't be revived

50+-rock bass
1-catfish lol?
3-sun burns
