This years Covid Crazy Walleye Derby put on by Erie Tracker Outfitters went great! Our team ended up boating a 13.42lb Walleye one of the first nights of the event which put us at the top, but we were sweating all week thinking it could get bumped down. In the end it held up and we got 1st! We also put up a sixth place finish with a 12.67lb as well as a 10.65lb. Top 3 fish were over 13lbs and fishing is just getting better! Enjoy your time on the water and we will see you out there.

That thing is a beast. Well done!

Are they still edible when they get that big? I’ve tried a few 10lb fish over the years that couldn’t be released and they were by far the worst tasting walleye I’ve eaten.
