Went to the lighthouse saturday. CAught one silver one rainbow, one sheepshead, and my first ever lake trout. Everything came on lures with purple in it

Same with me, my first every two Lakers one day 14 lb and the next 19 lb both on same purple deep diver. Sweet

My two lakers were in over 100 ft of water. Curious if you would share the depth you were in for the Rainbow/steele? I had a Steele but he got away. Would love to catch a rainbow. Cheers

Both the laker and bow were in 120 ft. The lure for the bow was at 50 ft while the laker was at 90
