Hotlinefishing

We were trolling in 120 feet of water east of the lighthouse yesterday morning. The water has really warmed up so we had the riggers set 90 feet down. The big king hit a strawberry dolphin spoon and really screamed out about 3 times. We landed a nice coho and trout in the area. The fishing was much better on Monday and I was fishing with the riggers set 65-67 feet down and was using 9 and 10 color cores and dipseys set 135 out on a 1 setting. We hooked into well over 30 fish between the two trips and the clients lost 20 of them mostly due to double and triple headers. I hope we have a cold water layer setup soon because I hate fishing 90 feet down the first week of July.

John
