Lake Trout. Just curious.

I have heard of a few caught off the rocks in Goderich out near the end. Not enough to actually target them. I get them in long point bay. Fight better than a pic but don't eat as well.
 
Thanks for the responses everyone :) Gives me some areas to think about.
 
We used to catch them when trying for rainbows or salmon at Port Dalhousie (spelling?) from shore, bottom bouncing in the current with roe bags and also casting heavy spoons like cleos. Can't remember what time of year but I do remember it wasn't cold. The further south you fish, closer to the dam, the more luck you'll have. We always fished the east side.
