Lake Ontario … bass report

Heh I just heard that a friend of a friend of a friend caught this this weekend in 60fow on a salmon spoon behind a downrigger out of Port Weller.

Funny thing is it’s a completely legal catch. On Lake Ontario bass season is:

Smallmouth bass
Early season catch and release: January 1 to May 10
Limits: S-0 and C-0
Regular season: first Saturday in July to December 31
Limits: S-6 and C-2

I don’t even know who it is in the photo so I cropped it down to just the fish.

She's a beauty. Talked to a couple different anglers on the water this weekend in the inner bay that landed 6+ lber smallmouths. One of them told me it was close to 10lbs but he smelled like Budlight and was wearing a yellow sundress.

We left out of forans on Friday at 1:00. 4 rods in 60 fow. 2 lakers. We got frustrated and trolled into 30 fow and found a pod of eyes. Yes, walleye. All were released.

I believe you meant to ask was it's name Dylan. How could you be so insensitive? Dlyana would want you to be more inclusive in your questioning.
