Fishing Report Lake O Bluffers Morning, May 23

Bluffers no-Smackdown but a decent day so far. My buddy brought his boat to Bluffers marina to park there for a season and we made our 1st trip out. He did not have time to go home get his rods and fishhawk to the boat at the marina. And so, it was an interesting trip without fishhawk with rods from my truck but we zigzaged our way in and out... first huge strike on rigger with meat rig 50/58 lost, then lost another one 80/140 and then it was all bites on 200WS in 100-220 fow... Michigan Stinger carbon 14, alewife and my Shoehorns.

In summary, 7/11, 2 kings, 3 cohos, 2 Atlantics. Beautiful day. Gonna go grab a bite at the restaurant at Bluffers Marina and may be back for the evening Smackdow trip...

Nice we were off of the south shore today out of Hamilton. Just a social time with some friends. Got two, one baby Chinook and a small Coho. My guests were thrilled with that though.

Packing it in what a great day on water... 8 Atlantic bites (!!!) all sent back except 1, 5 coho, 4 kings, 1 lamprey, 3 beers, 3 Greek souvlaki with 3 buddies at Bluffers Marina restaurant probably 10 losses or so...

No flies at Bluffers but some said Mississauga had lots...
