Lack of River Rat Reports

Allo all! Been awhile since I have been here as I have had to deal with some serious health issues and I am still dealing with them.

Anyway I had to offer my 1.2 cents worth regarding the comment that was made regarding how tight lipped us river rats are.

Perhaps my assumptions and perceptions are wrong, I thought this site was more or less geared towards those who are fortunate enough to have a boat. Whenever I have made a post about the odd decent bass or pike I have managed to get from shore, there didn't seem to be a whole lot of interest. So I basically stopped.

Anyway between appts with specialists, doctors, visiting hospitals, gawd knows how many blood tests, follow ups etc, fishing for me has fallen by the wayside. I think I have been on the pier maybe 3-4 times this season as a result.

I certainly have enjoyed seeing the many reports from Lake Erie.. they've all been a welcome diversion!

well bassmaster, I for one enjoy most of the posts, I may not post a reply to all of them.
I think we have all posted reports and got no answer, well thats life .
I hope you recover from what ever ails you , and are soon dack to fishing again.

Well said @meridian; sums up exactly how I feel. I just like to kid the guys on the rivers. They have legit reasons for keeping quiet but I enjoy giving them a jab about it. Some of them make fun of my clothing.

I would like to echo what meridian said about wishing you a speedy return to good health.
