Just got notification that it's mandatory to mark commercial nets on Lake Huron & Georgian Bay.

Would you like to see markers on nets in Lake Erie every 300 meters.?

The nets on the Ojibway & Saugeen Nations fishing zones have to be marked every 300 meters for boaters safety...I think that should be done on all lakes that have commercial fishing......What do you think??? I get these notices from the Ontario News & the MNR.

That would be nice! I've been caught by surprise a few times out of port Burwell. with them only being marked at either end it makes it difficult to notice them in certain conditions but every 300m that would make them much easier to spot and avoid making it safer for everybody one the water
