June in the bay

Need some advice here.
We are organizing a fundraiser perch derby at the end of June. Last year it was out of Burwell and pretty much got blown off the water.
Is there perch in the bay at that time of year that we could use as back up location.

End of June would be better for bass in the inner bay, it will be busy out there with opener too....still some perch to be caught tho.

Don't forget about the fish sanctuary which doesn't end until the bass opener

...last year the perch fishing in the inner bay was almost non existent...very poor..

2015 we did a trip in middle of May and caught some but small. I'm guessing bigger perch have moved deeper and around the point by May.
