Fishing Report Its a start for the ice season

Put in about 8hrs with a big weather change happening. First time out with the new hut.
Lots of lookers with about 6 of these little walleye & 1 dink perch.
Just over 2ft of ice on Remi lake(Moonbeam)
It can Hopefully only get better

Did it take much wood to keep you warm, love the way it was built. Keep those pictures come THX….

No it doesn't take much wood to heat the hut as it's fully insulated. Had to open the window as it got so hot inside.

Where abouts & how much ice.
Last year at this time we had about 3.5ft. This year only 2ft of ice

My buddy took me to his secret spot so I can’t publish it but there was 3 guys from down towards Niagara that drove up there just to fish for the day

Nothing huge today but i was still able to get out. Still have NO snow but 16in of ice still after that warm spell.
Out for 3hrs
3 pike
1 perch
2 lost pike at the hole
