Innerbay Spring Pike?

When is the ideal time of year to catch pike in the inner bay? I would like to take my kids out this year. Years ago we use to fish the inner bay all the time but what time of the year was it??? I don't remember...Thanks

Look for surface temps in the 50's. End of April and early May is often prime time IMO. Watch out for the inner bay sanctuary after May 15.
