Launched out of Old Cut today at about 10 (sorry @jeweller i didnt see your post on my other thread until just now, we had left before then..... Thats a great idea. I'll tuck it away for the next time theres a north wind)
North wind, it was choppy out there. A little much for my tinner. Stuck to little rice bay, tried to get into some protected pockets.... Water about as warm as a bath. Fishing was tough. A few dinks, only one bass over a pound. Only thing I could get them to hang on to was a drop shot, but even then they would mouth it for about 15s before I could hook them. Lost a good one on a jig.
Gonna give it a try again sunday, maybe try some leeches. I've never fished leeches for bass before, how do you guys rig them up? What action rod?
