Just a heads up. The sanctuary in the Inner Bay starts May 15.

You can still fish. Its not the whole bay thats closed

Thanks for the clarification. The mnr one is better worded. I was looking at the fish sanctuary map one and it isn't as clear as to the intentions

Are the areas well marked? In the inner bay where you cant be?

They are marked but not that great. Keep your eyes open for signs posted every so often

West side is open for pike perch etc. There are signs posted in some areas . Basically from port rowan straight out. Ec10 off limits bait island etc. Some nice weed beds in the open zone for pike though .

They are a single-sided buoy that bounce around in the surf. I agree with @SonsOfPerchin they are not easy to see. you have to be actively looking for them. - My opinion.

You definitely will see em floating in the bay! Signs r roughly a few hundred yards east of old cut to pottahawk! Plenty of options on both sides of sanctuary for good fishing ?
