Fed's can't seem to fix the broken anemomter on the Lighthouse for 2 years now to get decent wind speed and direction in the summer months. But hey, they can install an Ice Camera out there for all to enjoy. WTF?

I knew it would be a mistake to include the words "mount" and "EC10" in the same post... but I was serious... why not have a government camera there? We're paying for it after all, and a lot more of us stand to benefit from a camera there then one pointed off the tip of Long Point.

They stopped displaying Long Point Lighthouse on Env. Can. I think because, the Point actually bends the wind accelerates it and gives a distorted report. For a while they delayed posting an hour so it wouldn't get into the Models, I think. The weather Network has real data on it's last 24 hours.
