How to avoid getting soaked?

My 16' sea nymph. If there's any chop at all I get soaked. Doesn't ride waves well. My last year boat has a lip around the boat where the hull meets the side front to back. Did amazing in rough weather and that was a 14' Crestliner. Does anyone know if you can add these on or where to buy them?
