Heading to Lake St. Clair Friday Advice Please

Hello all hope everyone has has an enjoyable summer of fishing. A friend and I are heading to fish Lake St. Clair for the very first time. I live in Woodbridge Onatrio. Could anyone suggest were would be a good area to go that offers a good boat launch and any suggestions where to start fishing on the Ontario side. Planning on doing mostly trolling but will try some jigging and other techniques. We are staying the night as well and fish all day Saturday. Thank you
 
What are you looking to fish primarily? By your pic, Muskie? I’d head out of lighthouse cove. 14-18 feet of water west towards the hump or north towards the wall. Still warm. Good luck.
 
Launch out of Belle river. Amazing launch, tones of parking for only 13.50. Staff there is amazing. Run about a mile left of the hump. Then head out to 17-18FOW offshore. Caught 2 nice sized musky this year already out there! Good luck.
 
We tried today but the 4’ swells did not help. Thanks for all who helped with the knowledge. Went to Mitchell’s Bay and played with a few bass. Nice day overall. Off to the Algonquin for a week of canoeing. Enjoy the week, weather looks good.
 
Last week a few charter boats and dozens of private boats where trolling musky straight out the channel markers from Light House Cove.

Hello thank you for all your responses. We ended up at the Cove Marina it was not very good then headed to Belle River as suggested that was a very nice launch and only $10. Unfortunately it was way to windy and waves were 3 feet plus. So we ended up heading home. We will try another day that hopefully will be calmer.
 
There is a free launch in lighthouse but if the water is high it gets a little sketchy. We were there a couple weeks ago and we were catching them at the wreck. We saw at least a dozen just swimming around the boat. We tried trolling but just too weedy. Ended up casting and that’s how we caught ours. Good luck!
 
Our new favourite launch is Belle river, convenient, awesome launch, good parking for only 10$ or something like that. Heading down again for the weeknd, hope to see others out!
