From Port Dover went 2+hrs. north to branch of Saugeen Thurs. Beautiful. Caught specs, rainbows and browns. Two of us caught maybe 20 fish over entire day.
Went today with friend who is learning( a lot of learning)to Lynn River.
Drove five minutes. Caught 15 browns, in two hours, which averaged larger than the fish from the day before.
I'm not saying that it is a meat hunt, it was beautiful up north; but the experience here was not to be dismissed.
By the way friend had monster brown on for a minute that was bigger than any in the northern steam.
We should make sure Lynn River is never damaged.
