Off Topic grand river brantford

i live along the Grand river in Brantford. With the Ice jam i thought I'd post some photos. The one shows some of the smart decisions people make in just to get a photo

live in apt building next to lorne bridge---no prob here up on the third floor

Grand peaked in Btfd yesterday at 830am....3000 cubic meters per second, dikes were said to breach and fail at 3400 so it was close. All ice jams have passed now and 30 hours after the peak the Grand river is at 1000 cubic meters per second.......1/3rd what it was.

Used to do a lot of swimming fishing & drinking as a teenager down the road from there...... hope "greenwaters" is ok after all that ice plows through
