Fresh is best...

I can remember meals of nothing but new potatoes, butter, salt and pepper.

Dad always made a point of getting a basket up at the cottage and having them for supper. 🌻
 
Gotta agree guys, we grew up on super fresh potatoes touched up with salt, pepper and a hint of butter. However, those walleye fillets go a long way on to make the plate that much better too. LOL:):D
