Headed out of Oldcut with Jimmy at 7:00 am , he put us in the farthest hut out (south side of Ec 10) in 11 f.o.w. We fished until 15:00 and not even a nibble after considerable effort trying to attract them. Jimmy showed up to check on us at 15:15 and by 15:30 he had the hut towed back to approximately 4 f.o.w. a half mile off shore. With in 10 minutes of fishing the new spot we were catching perch, however, there was not enough time in the day left to catch my limit. We ended up with 5 keepers 8-9", however, my luck was about to change. When Jimmys hired hand came to take us in, he felt sorry for us and gave us 9 good sized perch that he caught in his own hut yesterday while working. On top of that, another couple donated 2 more perch to our bucket as they only caught 2 for the day, so in total I went home with 16 fish. I cannot say enough about the kindness of long pointers and Jimmy Riggin ice fishing is a class act. Thanks Jimmy and the couple from Brody Mechanical. Here is some pics from yesterdays trip.ice fishing feb15 002 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 003 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 007 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 008 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 020 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 032 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 027 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 031 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 026 (800x600).jpgice fishing feb15 022 (800x600).jpg
