It may be my imagination but the erie bows look thin , not big bellied or at least thick like the ontario ones.
Actually they seem to look thin in general.
Not enough feed?
All the bow's I have got this year were full of smelt, one had close to 30 in her belly, from Erie. But I think your wright, the bow's icefisherman shows from Ontario seem to be bigger.
We caught a couple last Friday out of Burwell and they seemed like healthy fish. One was a real football and the other was 9.5lb and in good shape as well
