Elbow Aug 5

I went out on Saturday, by myself to the elbow. Dropped lines at 8:20, left at 1 pm with my limit of pickerel, 4 caught around 75 feet and 2 90-100 ft. The winners for the day were 2 on silver blue RR, leadcore 6 colour. 1 on dipsy 3 setting 110 feet out, pink panties. 2 on nascar, dipsy 1 setting 175 feet out. 1 on dipsy 1 setting 185 feet out, on the lure on attached photo, I cannot remember the name. Started out with a little chip, then calmed for a nice ride in. Windy but no bugs all day

Like "fiream" I thank you for the report. I've fished the Elbow since 1981 but with the exception of Rainbow Trout the area was disappointing the past several years. I'll have to give it another try. Not surprised that the bows/salmon have moved on. The first weekend in August typically marked the end of the season for them.
