East winds

I think I know my answer but wanted some verification from seasoned anglers. I’m stubborn and love fishing for early season bass on Erie. I want to fish tomorrow and the forecast looks like east winds at 20kmh. I fish in a kayak and plan on staying close to shore to fish for some bass. I was thinking of fishing around the James Allen provincial park. Should I risk it and make the drive or should I just go somewhere else inland.

Thanks

I’m not familiar with that park but I don’t usually take my yak out into the inner bay if the wind is much above 15 kph

If I were you . I'd go to the grand river
your almost beside it and you'll be much safer
The open Lake can be very dangerous

Let us know how you did
