Well it seems some pickerel have finally arrived and are occasionally hungry.
Got out today at 0800 , motored out south east from Dover to 50-60 FOW
Yes this is closer to Nanticoke, but its still a dover fishery. Most bites came on 4 colour lead core, some with a michigan stinger and some on a RRF
But the riggers also produced 2 down 27 ft . Water surface temp was 69-72. Ended the day with 4 Picks and lost another in a brutal amateurish netting attempt.
Only myself to blame. Flies can be bad on the unprepared.
