I latched onto the biggest one I`ve seen yet , It was huge and I couldn`t believe the runs it was taking . Bit off the line when I finally got it to the hole so no picture proof .

Apparently my brother got the end of that fight on his cell .
Pardon my french in the vid , was a little pumped seeing this one coming under the ice to the hole then bolting off with my bait .

Here`s a vid from saturday . This pike inhaled my jig but never put any damage on my leader , go figure .
We each kept a 25 " . Never ate one before so we`ll see what the hipe is about .

I'll have to try the wire this weekend , by the sounds of it they may not affect the perch bite .
Ate the pike for supper and really enjoyed it . I thought the side fillets tasted better than the back strip which was still good .

That first video monster pike I bet that had your adrenaline going lol i used to use wire leaders in some smaller lakes and stopped using them, but after watching that one I???m going back to wire ???? thanks for sharing ????
