Colchester fishing

Guys, I never fished the west end of the lake and would like to try something around Leamington, Colchester or the Island. Either Saturday or Sunday, depending on weather, driving from London, I have a buddy close to Colchester and was thinking to launch there. In the past I read good reviews either for eyes or even some bass. Any suggestions where to start? Thanks!

Bite in Leamington is really hot now for eyes and not far from colchester which is nowhere near as good now. Crawler harnesses behind inline weights and bottom bouncers with inline planer boards will get you lots of fish. Lots of shorts though.
