C Maps Came preloaded on Lowrance FS 9 Custom depth shading not a bad option and interesting view of lake bottom

Thanks for sharing Port D ! Anything Long Point is always interesting ! Can't justify gadgets like that on my duckboats so I'll make do with my punt paddle/depth finder.

The mapping may look good but is very similiar to Navionics on accuracy. Some areas its not even close.

I agree 100% , on my machine I use Navionics + I've fished the Grand River and a lot of places fishing shows you up on land.
Plus other Lakes, depths structures are way off.

I’m thinking C-MAP Social should be accurate. It’s free downloads from another boater that’s uploaded it ,or you can log your own maps

Yes those swaths that have been mapped and available on social maps are accurate but as you can see on the screen shot its to even close to being complete but it is a start.
