Burwell Walleye July 30

Decided to head to Burwell today even though it was not ideal conditions, but had no other commitments. Got out on the water Just after 10am. Water was rough with 2-3 ft swells. My brother and I are Dipsey Diver Newbies. Searched for about an hour or so and then finally started marking fish at 20ft straight off from the light at Burwell in 50 ft of water running South to North. Finally got a hit headed North and then turned and repeated our track 2 more times. The last 1 1/2 we caught 7 walleye and lost 1. Dipsey with spoon 40ft of line out and RRF at about 25 of line out. One was caught off a flat line straight out the back. Fish were shallow. Back to Port just after 2pm. Not a bad day for 2 guys that don't do a lot off trolling.
