Fishing Report Burwell Sunday 17th

Out yesterday with my Dad. We fished from 9am to 1pm for Walters. It took that long to get our 2 man limit! Not complaining, still managed to find them. Fished from 55' to 63'. Dipseys produced the most fish on 3 @ 165'. Seemed to be a spoon bite for us, NASCAR was the ticket. Got a little bow on a RRF in silver/blue. Went to sandhills after that found a few perch in 54'. Great day on the lake.

Thanks never been up that way was thinking of going this weekend. Was down off turkey point this weekend and the perch were slightly bigger than the minnows. Amazing to see how many people were keeping them.

Heard they were hitting at clear creek as well. I think we just picked the wrong time of day to start perchin.

where are the Sandhills located?

If you are on the water, a few miles from shore, and headed east out of Burwell, follow the bluffs until you see a sandy opening that slopes steeply down into the water. Bingo!
