Wife and i hit the water at 7:30am. Fished for perch from silver barn to Hastings very slow bite and could not get into any pattern. Decided to fish for ole Wally at 11:30 till 3:00 pm from Hastings to silver barn. That sucked as well. We headed back to silver barn after that for perch with no luck. We then moved towards the marina at 5:50pm and marked a pile about a mile off breakwall. Put the anchor down and BINGO. We had our two person limit in an hour average size 10 -11 "s with larger in the mix. Noticed the fish were just full of flies which they crapped all over my boat. This was probably the reason for the poor bite in the morning i would figure. All in all beautiful day on the water, but what a long one.
