Burwell Perch

Went out this morning for some perch. Bite was great but then had 2 commercial boats drop their nets on each side of me and it slowed right down. I did manage to get 30 between 10-14inchers

What a bunch of jerks to do that to you. Now you know where the nets are go and pull them up some and steal the perch...lol

I’m sure they troll this site for information. What shame. They are decimating a great fishery. Thanks for the report- glad you got into some.

One left Burwell just before we headed out, it headed down your way but that isn't it.

Had it happen trolling last year or the year before (time travels so quickly now) which is definitely different than still fishing. Two set up parallel nets on either side of us.

We just trolled up and down the nets reaping the reward.
