Late start as per eye appointment. Lines in straight out of port 56ft. At 11:15. Trolled withe dipseys, out to 60.5ft. went west a mile and quit at 2:15. 4 Pickerel and 2 Bows. Great day on the water . Love my new Auto pilot. S pattern works great. Should have bought one a long time ago.

Port Franks Charters had a special request to fish Lake Erie today. Well we killed it.
18 eyes 2bows. Best action out in 70’ lots a Small’s were released and lost a few bows off the planer boards. Super fun day with these experienced Angler’s. let’s just say NASCAR was the colour of the day. 34’ 40’ down in 65’ - 71’ of water.

Glad you got a few out there today @Way She Goes... congrats on your new auto pilot. That will make your days of fishing much more enjoyable.

Autopilot is a game changer for sure. I use the 'S' turns quite often and just started using the 'C' turn function to do turns with the planer boards out; at 60-80 degrees per minute it does a beautiful, controlled turn without messing up the boards. You just have to remember to stop it or you keep going in circles.

I updated the software and reconfigured an associate's AP on Saturday. He was out with his boat for the first time yesterday.

Hope it worked okay, haven't spoken with him yet.

We had our AP installed earlier this year and you are correct @G.Mech and @Wave Runner it is a game changer. For the most part it is just my wife and I on the boat and fishing this year has been much more enjoyable. the I also like the "S" turn feature but have not tried the "C" turn yet. Will have to do that next trip.

I always tried the U turn but you cannot program the rate of turn and it's waaaaay too sharp a turn with boards out. I figured out the C turn thingy while I was musky fishing and it works fantastic.
