Fishing Report Burwell Friday evening

Looked at the weekend forecast and decided it had to be Friday evening or nothing. Went out of Burwell at 4:30 PM and set up in 57’. Rods set up at 25’, 30’, 35’ and 40’. Hit almost immediately at 30’. Dried up a bit until 60 FOW then hit again at 30’ so changed all 4 rods to 30’ and then it was pretty steady after that. Going North South the whole time. Ended with 13 evenly split between dipseys and lead. Silver rippling red fins on the dipseys were crazy hot then it changed to Black/Gold or Greasy Chicken. Had our limit by 7:00. Very nice evening fishing, may have to do that more often. Less busy, not as hot. 3 of the 13 were about 14”, pretty weird catching such small ones.

we managed to get 19 (4 of us in the boat)
caught a few of those smaller ones like you did but we also caught a tank
30 inch with a massive girth to it , our scale said just over 11 pounds . Biggest one we have ever boated
caught most of them in 58 FOW
